Event rules and their revisions
These are research notes, written to keep track of evidence. They're precise but dense. The AW-NET and game pages tell the same story in plainer language.

Commercial NEOWAVE Ring Contest rules, November 17, 2004
The event compares the number of rings collected during its running period. A ring battle occurs when both opponents use AW cards and both hold at least one ring. Every player starts with three. The winner gains one, and the loser loses one. A player with zero rings receives three rings after clearing CPU play; a player already holding rings receives no refill. At 30 or more rings, special titles become obtainable within the NEOWAVE content. AW-NET membership is required to obtain those titles.
The first two periods are November 15 at 10:00 through November 21 at 24:00, and December 13 at 10:00 through December 19 at 24:00. The November 17 body directly corroborates the three-ring commercial refill, alongside the later poster. The earlier preserved November 10 rules and June test rules say one; retain the dates and difference instead of treating them as one timeless rule.
Corrected event results and ended-event pages
Second-round results, actual capture February 4, 2005, also retained in the March 6 capture.
The results identify the December 13–19 event and state that a December 18 system problem prevented some players' ring counts from being obtained. The operator recalculated results on December 28 and labeled them final. This is evidence of a recorded service incident and corrected leaderboard, not proof of how its server implemented event accounting. Both first- and second-round result pages publish the top 35 places.
Kintaro advance release and test-card transition
Card-transition notice, captured December 12, 2004.
The undated body announces an advance release version for Wednesday, June 23, and a member page planned to open Thursday, June 24. The weekday/date combination is consistent with 2004. From June 23, test cards stop working and production cards become usable. The mobile and PC Kintaro sites would be unavailable June 23 for server maintenance. Test points, performance and records are initially reset; AW-NET members could transfer part of the test-card data to production cards from June 24.
As thanks for participating in testing, completing the transfer automatically enabled a special version of a chat message sent before the game starts. The notice does not reproduce the message or say every data field transfers. This supports a specific test-participant customisation reward. “Advance release” is retained as the source's wording; it does not resolve a nationwide full-release shipment date.
Scheduled downtime, effective July 30, 2004
July 29 maintenance notice, captured August 4.
Daily service stops are announced for 04:00–06:00, beginning July 30. During maintenance, online competition, card transfers and server-based record saving are unavailable. Using an AW card during that period does not save data to the server. Arcade games can be played offline; all PC and mobile site content stops. The notice allows the time to change according to circumstances. This directly documents cabinet network limitations in addition to the separately recovered website-maintenance response.
Merchandise and operator downloads
The January 2005 Isuka goods page lists a PS2 release, limited Zippo and telephone card, folders, Roger plush/phone strap, poster, fan, figure and prize keyrings. These are physical products or prize merchandise; the phone strap is not a downloadable mobile reward. The books page identifies the 176-page Isuka Outlive Encyclopedia, Arcadia Extra Vol.15, with a strategy DVD and ISBN 4-7577-1828-4. It also lists a 112-page Technical Guide, ISBN 4-7973-2827-4. Their bibliographies offer print leads, not proof of a complete AW-NET catalog inside.
The February 9 shop-only download page offers third-campaign A4 poster PDF/JPG and Geese command sheets in two display formats. This is an operator-facing promotional download area, separate from the member point shop.
Publicly archived server analyzer: historical software context
April 9, 2004 archived analyzer.
This response is futomi's CGI Cafe Server Analyzer 1.1, not a player feature. It reports the hostname awweb2.aw-net.jp, an i686 Linux system, kernel 2.4.20-18.7smp, and Perl 5.006001. It also lists installed modules and CGI environment information. These values establish what this particular public diagnostic response reported in April 2004; they do not establish all AW-NET servers, the arcade network protocol, authentication rules or a database schema. Only this historical archive was read. No current server was probed.
