| In Horeki 10, in Anjo village, Yamashiro province, a killer was born. Still young, he killed his own mother and fled. Studying Ko’in Itto-ryu under Nicotine Caffeine, his natural talent flourished until he surpassed his fellow pupil Haohmaru. His teacher condemned the evil in his sword and expelled him. He then made his living killing. One day in a pleasure quarter, an incongruous rumor reached him: Haohmaru would enter a great foreign-style fight to the death. Hearing it on the bedding, he tapped his pipe. His name was Genjuro Kibagami. “Haohmaru… I’ll kill you.” The woman beside him never forgot his maddened eyes or the smell of blood. |
