AW-NET promotional media
The homepage Flash banner and SNK's character movie, with their original files, historical links and selected dialogue.
These public promotional assets show how AW-NET was presented on the web. Their capture dates, stored timestamps and illustrated content answer different questions; none alone establishes a game's service launch or a paid phone reward.
The AW-NET homepage Flash banner
The preserved SWF comes from a 1 April 2005 capture of http://www.awnet.jp:80/pc/main_flash.swf. Its stage is 567 × 196 pixels, with 300 frames at 16 frames per second: 18.75 seconds of timeline at that rate. The capture date is not necessarily the date the banner was created or first published.
Seven stored bitmap resources supply a chrome frame and artwork for four games. The three Kintaro variants include location-test and operating announcements; their coexistence in the file does not establish three launch dates or prove that a test was still running in April 2005.

| Guilty Gear Isuka | JPEG decoding stream |
Decoded PNGThe four button actions preserve these historical destinations. Each targets _blank, opening a new browser window or tab according to the browser's behavior.

The resources were obtained by static parsing without executing the Flash movie. The previews are modern derivatives: one JPEG stream removes an erroneous leading marker, four combine image bodies with shared JPEG tables, and the PNGs decode lossless colour data or combine separate colour and alpha streams. The SWF and raw payloads remain separate. The resources do not reconstruct every vector shape, placement or animation transform, so they are not complete rendered movie frames. The reconstructed homepage uses still images from these resources.
NeoGeo Battle Coliseum: AW-NET character movie
SNK's download page labels the film AW-NETキャラクタームービー—“AW-NET character movie”—in Windows Media format, advertised as 4.1 MB. The preserved movie, boss.wmv, contains 4,157,088 bytes and runs 79.466 seconds, at 320 × 240 pixels and 30 frames per second, with WMV3 video and WMA2 audio.
The publisher offered Windows and Mac archives. The Windows file wraps an LZH archive; the preserved WMV was extracted with 7-Zip without running the executable. Its stored member timestamp is 27 September 2005, 00:21. That is archive metadata, not an independently established release date.
The sampled sequences show Mizuchi, NEO-DIO and Shishioh in that order, with English character names in the gameplay HUD. These are the three bosses described in the Master Guide's shop table. The film is a public demonstration of their attacks, not a record of a purchase or enrollment. The preserved frames show gameplay, dialogue, logos and a closing slogan; they do not establish shop prices, an exhaustive entitlement catalogue, or the availability of phone downloads.
Dialogue and visible text
The following are editorial translations of promotional and game dialogue. The source supplies no official English localization for these lines. Approximate times identify the sampled frames. The first clause of Shishioh's line and small HUD account strings remain untranscribed where the resolution does not support a confident reading.
| Frame | Japanese text | English reading |
|---|---|---|
| Mizuchi, around 12 seconds | 死と生は等価値なのだ。さあ、魂の自由を手にするがいい。 | Death and life have equal value. Now, claim freedom for your soul. |
| NEO-DIO, around 29 seconds | このDIO様は生物界の頂点。未来を拓く新しい生物!対等に口をきくな、この無礼者ッ! | I, the great DIO, stand at the pinnacle of the living world—a new life-form opening the future! Do not address me as an equal, you insolent fool! |
| Shishioh, around 47.5 seconds | [First clause uncertain.] 獅子を前にしては震えるだけか? | [First clause not confidently transcribed.] Before the lion, is trembling all you can do? |
| Closing slogan, around 67 seconds | 真の強者 ここに集う | The truly strong gather here. |
| Final trademark notice | 「NEOGEO」は(株)SNKプレイモアの登録商標です。 | NEOGEO is a registered trademark of SNK Playmore Corporation. |
The linked dialogue images are preserved frame extractions; no translation is burned into them. The contact sheet combines sampled frames into a modern overview. Its time labels are editorial, not part of the movie. These samples are not a frame-by-frame or audio transcription of the entire film.
SNK also supplied five separate preview JPEGs: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Those publisher downloads are distinct from the locally extracted dialogue frames and assembled contact sheet.
See NeoGeo Battle Coliseum for the game and its AW-NET features, or the Master Guide reading for the printed prices, controls and service rules.
